Meet Up at the London Bridge is a fashion editorial comprising nine digitally reconstructed panoramic shots. The work can be experienced in two ways: (1) by reading the panoramic image from left to right or right to left, and (2) by engaging with the accompanying website, where the project is presented in the format of a WhatsApp chat.
The editorial follows two strangers from Hong Kong—Lee and Ruby—who meet at the center of London Bridge, where Lee intends to return Ruby’s lost train card. The final image is a composite of panoramic iPhone shots (Image 1), which can be read from the left, offering Ruby’s perspective, or from the right, representing Lee’s viewpoint.
Beyond digital photography, the project includes an interactive website that mimics the WhatsApp user interface. Instead of passively viewing the images, visitors can actively engage with the narrative by typing on their keyboard, triggering chat messages that reveal the conversation between Lee and Ruby. Occasionally, images appear within the chat, providing additional context and enhancing the storytelling experience.
